SPORK! Contributor Sarah Bowden brings her biographical (and autobiographical) spoken word masterpiece to Chicago stages again, as part of the 2020 Rhinofest. Bowden’s one-woman pseudo lecture tour explores Helen Keller’s obscure late life in juxtaposition to Bowden’s own loss of hearing and eyesight. It’s a fantastic pairing of two women who are beset with obstacles, and have chosen to meet them with the same humor and aplomb. Catch this original performance and learn more at rhinofest.com.
