2014
Sticking to our original chartreuse website color, SPORK! worked in-house to design a logo that resembles a speech bubble with the explanation point turned into the Rod of Asclepius.
The text of “differently able” was included at the bottom of the logo to originally depict our acknowledgment of those within the Disabled community who might not self identify as such.
2018
Aspiring for a comic book type graphic, SPORK! experimented with different fonts and styles to help bring dimension to the logo
2020
Returning to SPORK!s original website font, we combined traditional imagery from the Disabled community (i.e. brain for cognitive disabilities, heart for non apparent disabilities and wheelchair for physical disabilities) to convey the communities reach. Text of “a voice for our community” was also added to the bottom of the logo to represent the defining work SPORK! Is doing.
2024
SPORK! worked with disability owned and operated business, Bri Beck Consulting, to design our newest logo.
Aligning with SPORK!’s website color pallet and zine origins, Bri Beck Consulting incorporated our trademark chartreuse and combined it with action imagery of an open, mid-speech mouth surrounded by stylized sound waves for a fresh and modern feel.
