ReelAbilities is the nation's largest film festival dedicated to the differently able community. Established in New York, since 2007 to now, ReelAbilities has been hosted in 14 cities across the US.
In 2015, Backbones Founder, Reveca Torres, introduced ReelAbilities to Chicago. Screened at esteemed venues around the Chicago area, this free, five-day event brought together and honored the differently able community. Through an impressive selection of films, panel discussions, exhibits and performances, ReelAbilities epitomized the differently able experience. Dates: September 9 - 13 2015
